Marvel has dominated the entertainment world in the past decade with it’s MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), including blockbusters like the Avengers films and Guardians of the Galaxy, while DC has been a distant also-ran. But this year at SDCC, DC is building serious momentum for a run at toppling Marvel on top the comics foodchain. Kind of appropriate that the middle letters of SDCC are “DC” as we saw the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, footage of the Suicide Squad, and panels for their three hit TV shows, Gotham, Arrow and The Flash... did I say three... soon to be four as Arrow and Flash characters will spinoff into DC's Legends of Tomorrow debuting in 2016.
